There aren&#8217;t any snakes or venomous stinging insects, the endemic woodhen reminded us of the weka and the flora is extra closely associated to New Zealand than to Australia. Over several days we walked many of the tracks on the 10 kilometre lengthy island and it felt lots like residence.</p>
